This 3-acre property with great views is just minutes from downtown Pagosa Springs and 30 minutes to Wolf Creek Ski Area. The property is secluded enough to give you the mountain getaway feeling but close enough to amenities to make it convenient. The open floor plan and the large deck make entertaining a breeze. Newly remodeled kitchen!
The house has a main floor master bedroom/bathroom with a King size bed and four additional bedrooms on the second floor. There is a second full bath upstairs and another half bath downstairs. The upstairs bedrooms include one King size bedroom, one Queen size bedroom, one bedroom with a Queen and two twins, plus a room with two twin beds. The twin room doubles as another television room upstairs as well if some separation is needed. All of the beds have new mattresses. We also have a pack and play, high chair, and baby gate for the little ones!
If you don’t feel like going out to one of the great restaurants in town, the kitchen is well equipped and open to the dining room and living room. There is plenty of room to have several cooks in the kitchen, plus seating around the large island to accommodate the inevitable gathering in the kitchen to socialize. The dining room table can seat 10 and there is room for three at the counter. The living room has seating for 8 and a large screen TV with DirectTV and Internet accessibility. Wifi is available throughout the home.
The large deck is perfect for relaxing with coffee in the morning or sipping a cocktail in the evening and just enjoying the beautiful mountain views, peaceful surroundings, and wildlife. We have seen elk, deer, turkey, foxes, and some have even spotted a bear. There is a hot tub available for soaking after a long hike, hunt, or day on the slopes. That’s if you don’t feel like going to town to soak in the amazing hot springs! There is a gas grill available and great outdoor furniture where you can relax. There are extra camping chairs in the garage should you have the need. There is plenty of property for kids to roam around on too! At night, enjoy the lights of Pagosa Springs in the distance.
