The space is conveniently located for business and/or visiting purposes.
It is the ground-floor of a two-storey building.
Accommodation includes one double bed, a 3-seat sofa (folding-out to a double bed), a chair (folding-out to a guest bed), an armchair; a laptop desk with rolley chair. There is also a small but functional kitchen (dishes, cutlery and cookware) and a dining table for 4. All furnishing and equipment is new.
Amenities include: ceramic plate stove, toaster, kettle, nespresso coffeemaker, cutlery, washing machine, small ironing board, closets and hangers.
The place is suitable/available for short or extended stays. Easy parking in front of the house (cost is 0,30€ per hour on working hours 8:00-14:00 & 17:00-20:00) or for free around the corner.

Before checking-out please leave the place clean and tidy - as you would like to find it :-)
The lady in charge of the space will do a quick check, will give the final cleaning touch, and will prepare the space for the next visitor (will change bed linen, towels etc and will provide a hygienic cleaning of the bathroom and toilet). Please respect this as is the only way to economize operational expenses and keep rental rates low.
Please, also respect other visitors discomfort with tobacco smoke smell in closed spaces. Should you wish so, you may smoke at the open-air patio.
-- The Neighborhood --
The neighborhood is both quiet (during the night) and vivid (during / after working hours). It comprises many old neoclassical low-height buildings used as homes and offices.
The space (part of a late neoclassical and interwar years preserved building) is conveniently located within the triangle formed by the buzzy Trion Navarchon, Riga Feraiou pedestrian streets and Pl. Ipsilon Alonion sq. Since 1995 this urban triangle has been characterized to be part of the architectural heritage of neoclassical Patras and all old buildings have to be preserved.
You may find restos, cafeterias, bars, shops, market and services shops, all within 2-5 mins. walk. Patras down-town center is within 10 mins walk.
You may as well enjoy easy, short distance visits to St. Andrew Cathedral (largest in Balkans), or strolls on the waterfront (10mins walk) to enjoy the purple sunsets. Monuments, mostly of Roman period (Conservatory, Nymphaea, Castle, Agora, Mithras temples etc) as well as some really beautiful Greek orthodox churches (Pantanassa and Pantokratoras) within 5-25 mins walks.

Everything you need on a daily basis is within a walking distance. Bakery, cafeterias, super-market, grocery and everyday necessities shops around the corner.
Public transportation - the house is in proximity to suburban train and urban bus lines.
Parking is possible on the front street at a small fee (0,30€ per hour) imposed by the municipality. The daily time-zones for on-fee parking are: Mo-Fri 08:00-14:00 & 17:00-21:00 and Sat 08:00-14:00. The rest of the day and during nights parking is free. Parking tickets are available on the corner kiosk (cited on Korinthou str.). As Tsamadou Str. is the limit to the parking control zone, if you turn right at Kananakari Str parking is free. You may also use a few private, open-air parking alleys nearby or a garage parking just 3 blocks away.
-- Some history --
If interested, herewith the history of the building...
The building used to be the residence of a large Patras family. The building architectural elements and form classify it as a "neo-classical and interwar years period building". It was build at 1939 by my grandfather to accommodate his family (comprising grandparents, parents and 8 children). The ground floor space accommodated the couple that was helping the family with every day activities; part of it was also used as a storage, laundry and pantry. The space also served as a safe-place ("bunker") during the Patras air-strikes in the beginning of WW2; as it was part of the first house in the neighborhood that was constructed with reinforced concrete, the space provided shelter to the family members and neighbors alike during air-force raids.
Last refurbishment was completed in 2000. I try to keep the original architectural character of the building and make it as functional as possible.
