This house is perfect for a family reunion or several families/friends to gather any time of the year! It is a dream vacation home for adults and kids alike! In addition to Lake Michigan and a private pool, there are unlimited activities! Yard games include: Cornhole, Bottle Bash, KanJam, Spike Ball, Bocce Ball, Putter Ball, Horse shoes, a basketball hoop, all sports balls & bats. We have 2 kayaks, 4 boogie boards and a paddle board for the whole family to enjoy (Life jackets strongly recommended for Lake Michigan and not provided with the property). To entertain kids of all ages, there is a large suspension swing, a Swirfer swing, a slackline, and several scooters.
Please note, we do NOT have air conditioning. The lake breeze is our "natural AC" and typically keeps the 5 bedrooms at a lovely temperature, while listening to the sound of the waves. There are definitely hot days in the summer months. To help with those temperatures, we have ceiling fans and stand-alone fans available in each bedroom. If AC is a necessity, we apologize and we recommend you look at other properties.
Inside is super spacious and you'll love hanging out in multiple gathering areas. There are 4 King size bedrooms, a bunk bed room that would sleep up to 6 kids and 3.5 updated bathrooms! Play board games by the gas fire in the retro "Jazz" room. Or build a fire in the comfortable family room connected to the beautiful kitchen. Gather and enjoy meals at one of the 2 large dining tables.
The basement is built for family fun! It has a pool table, a ping pong table, Pop-A-Shot and a foosball table. The media room is the perfect place to watch a movie on the big screen and lounge on the super comfortable reclining couch. There is also a Golden Tee arcade game and a popcorn machine. The laundry room has an extra refrigerator and an extra freezer, as well as 2 extra ovens (4 ovens in total for the house).
During warmer months (mid May-early Oct), jump in the large outdoor pool & Lake Michigan, or take the kayak & paddleboard out on the lake! There are tons of outdoor gathering spots! Grill out on the large outdoor patio with Adirondack chairs and picnic tables. Enjoy coffee and the AMAZING sunrise from the balcony located off the Master Bedroom. Build a fire and make S'mores with the fire pit overlooking the lake, or build a fire on the beach. Play yard games on our expansive 2 lots of land! There are 2 lots of beach front! We have plenty of pool toys/floats and beach toys.
This house has everything you need to enjoy a week on Lake Michigan for all ages! It is also a perfect spot for your golf-loving friends to play on all the local courses including Kohler!
