Positive: We felt warmly welcomed and hosted. It is a beautiful location. The food is fabulous and they thought to reach out to see if we wanted to book ahead, particularly appreciated in tiny village on a Sunday and Monday. So good we ate there twice, ordered same delicious food 😅. Perfect spot to visit Guédelon which also surpassed our expectations!
Negative: I see some reviews criticising noise from the restaurant. It is a charming loft room over the restaurant, so some noise is expected. Perfect spot to visit amazing Giverny. We fell asleep listening to the rushing brook, doves and murmuring of patrons downstairs.
Summary: A charming retreat in natural setting, with delicious dinner option.
