Positive: The hotel is in the perfect location - front line to Mont St Michel. We booked a room with partial views and that's exactly what we got. The room and balcony were large and comfortable. For the location alone, I'd return.

Negative: Sadly, I feel this would have been a once very grand hotel, however it felt a bit less than 4 star to us. Corridor carpets were badly stained and smelled off. Our room, once very luxurious I'm sure, felt a bit tired and definitely in need of upgrading. For a 4 star residence, we found breakfast pretty awful - cheap offerings and little variety. The whole place just needs tlc to be honest - resting on its laurels I feel, due to the fabulous location.
