LOCATION:
Exceptional villa called "Les Roches Grises" and managed by the Clef Decamp, a rare property for rent in Granville. Located 3h30 from Paris by car, or accessible by train by direct line.
Located on a rocky promontory, Granville is a very beautiful seaside resort nicknamed "Monaco of the North". With the presence of a casino and several large luxury hotels, Granville has always attracted artists. This ancient corsair and defense fortress of Mont Saint-Michel is also equipped with a golf course and a hippodrome, a tennis club a 2-minute walk away and a sea pool opposite the Villa.
The villa is 500m from the city center, next to the Christian Dior museum, its location is exceptional. You will admire a unique panorama overlooking the Chausey Islands, the upper town and the Emerald Coast. 80 km from St-Malo, Dinard, Dinan, Cancale and 50 km from Mont St Michel.
You will do everything on foot since the city center is 3 minutes from the villa. It is very lively with its market on Saturday morning and its shops, second-hand shops open on Sunday.
DESCRIPTION OF THE VILLA:
La Clef Decamp offers you this magnificent villa of over 500m² (completely renovated) with a splendid view of the sea visible from all the rooms (bedrooms, living room and kitchen).
With its panoramic garden facing the sea of 1500m² enclosed and not overlooked, you will be charmed by its private access to the beach (located 100m) via stairs.
A garage is on site, as well as an enclosed courtyard serving as a parking lot (5 cars). The refined decoration in tune with the times will delight you to make your weekend an unforgettable stay.
The villa is composed of a basement, a ground floor and two floors.
- In the basement, you will find a cinema room (NETFLIX) with a leisure area: Bonzini table football, pool table, bar, table tennis table (movable outside) and a sports area: bikes, elliptical trainer , vibrating tilt plate.
A laundry area is also present: washing machine, dryer, ironing board and stock of wood for heating.
- On the ground floor: the entrance, the living room, the living room with fireplace, the dining room facing the sea (with large table for 15 to 20 people), the Yamaha grand piano space, a desk , a library with armchairs and an independent sanitary.
The kitchen is hyper-equipped with a large table (10 people), a Falcon stove, two microwave ovens, 1 dishwasher, 1 kettle, 1 toaster, 1 classic filter coffee maker and 1 capsule coffee maker Nespresso, 1 Kenwood multi-function robot, 1 centrifuge, kitchen bottoms (tea, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, spices…), frying pans, pots etc., dishes and cutlery and 3 fridge-freezers.
- The 1st floor is composed of 5 bedrooms:
• Donville room: 1 double bed (140cm) + library storage
• Chausey bedroom: 2 single beds (90 cm) + built-in wardrobe + small desk and 2 chairs + a bathroom with WC
• Saint-Paul bedroom: 1 double bed (140 cm) + a bench seat + 2 built-in wardrobes and its shower room and WC
• Cancale Suite: is composed of 2 bedrooms as well as a separate shower room and WC. The 1st bedroom has a double bed (180cm) with the possibility of separating the 2 beds (90cm) if necessary. The 2nd bedroom has 1 single bed (90cm). No partition or door separates the two rooms. Built-in wardrobes, a large library and a desk are arranged in the suite.
- The 2nd floor is made up of a landing with a large open space dedicated to children with TV, two benches, a sofa, a library with books, comics and games as well as 3 bedrooms:
• Casino room: 1 double bed (180cm: 2 90cm beds that can be separated if necessary) + a bench seat + a chaise longue and storage. Possibility to put a cot if necessary
• Hauteville room: 1 double bed (140cm) + a baby bed + a chaise longue and storage
• Private room: 1 double bed (140cm)
A bathroom with bath, shower and WC as well as an independent sanitary are present on the landing.
- Exterior: electric gate, walled garden of 1500m² with access to the private beach. Private SPA facing the sea, closed during the winter period. Large 70m² terrace located next to the kitchen.
OPTIONS:
You can customize the options of your rental. You can:
• Rent towels: 10 € / person
• Come with an animal: 10 € / day
• Leaving after 11am (until 5pm): € 50
• Collect your groceries (Drive) + put them away: 80 €
It is possible to get yourself a package at a more attractive price if you need several options.
Living by the water is priceless, the show never stops!
It is 9 am Saturday morning, the family is getting ready to go to the market to buy fresh and local products. The second-hand dealers are also there: a nice mix. Upon returning to the villa, teens take advantage of the 70 m² playroom in the basement (with bar, pool table, table football, disco light games, karaoke, darts ...) and the small cinema room (for 8 pers. with large flat screen, DVD playback, NETFLIX).
While the parents occupy the sports area of the garage (ping-pong table, bicycle, oscillating-vibrating plate, elliptical trainer, etc.).
The day went by so quickly that it is already 6 p.m. On the ground floor, the Yamaha grand piano lets out a divine sound. Music lovers savor this moment of happiness by the fireside facing the sunset while the others bask in the SPA (6 people) with a glass of champagne in hand. After spending the afternoon on the beach, the youngest children still play ball in the 1500m² fully enclosed garden. The girls are however in their playroom on the top floor.
8 pm, the electric gate opens, the guests arrive ... The chef at home has been working for a few hours in the kitchen around the beautiful Falcon piano and the three refrigerators. Everything is ready to welcome guests, the beautiful table for 15 people is set. At nightfall the facade and the garden light up. The baby sitter has just arrived and the professional pianist leaves, after having animated the evening. Parents will be able to have fun at the Casino and dance the night away!
Six o'clock, the night was magic, the sun is coming up. Most night owls lie on the chaise lounges of the rooms on the top floor to admire the spectacle.
Another great day begins because today the family has planned to take the boat to visit the Chausey Islands in front of the house and tomorrow it will be Mont St Michel, after tomorrow St Malo Dinard and Cancale, and for the end of the stay : Champrépus Zoo and the landing beaches.
