Our Lil Bit O Texas is a ranch home styled as a modern farmhouse located on a 1 acre waterfront, parklike setting. This 4 bedroom 2 bath home is 8 miles from Granbury Square yet still in the country. You and your family will enjoy water activities in the creek with access to the Brazos River, Lake Granbury and beautiful sunsets from the backyard creek side pergola & firepit. 2 kayaks are included during your stay.
The space
Multiple living spaces allow for year round activities. You and your family can explore the waterscape in the provided kayaks, watch the native birds and wildlife and enjoy outdoor activities for all ages. If just sitting and relaxing is your thing, there are areas for that too! The pergola offers bench and table seating with solar lighting to extend your enjoyment into the evening, and is adjacent to a firepit where the family can come together around the fire (firewood included). The large back patio allows multiple seating areas, an outdoor dining area and BBQ grill. The patio is also lighted for evening activities and entertainment with multiple seating areas to accommodate any activity. The spacious yard has enough room for all to spread out and enjoy! Croquet and corn hole sets are provided.
This well appointed 4 bedroom home can accommodate up to 10 guests and includes a large living area, kitchen (with well stocked coffee bar) & dining space with a dining table that can expand to seat all the guests.
Also available to rent is a beautifully decorated Cozy Creekside 1 bedroom/1 bathroom and kitchenette retreat that sleeps 3 for additional guest space.
Your travel will bring you passed several ranches with longhorns, horses, goats and cattle. As the home is located along Long Creek and away from the city life, country living brings many different species of Texas wildlife: white tail deer, turtles, herons, foxes, raccoons, skunks, boars, snakes and the occasional turkey. Please be aware of your surroundings.

Guest access
The property has 2 rentals; both rentals have access to the waterfront and front of the garage for parking. These are the shared areas. Please do not use the walkway on the side of the garage. This is only for the Cozy Creek Retreat guests to use. Parking is in the garage and in front of the garage.
Other things to note
You will enjoy the ease and convenience of self check in. Check in time is 4PM and check out is 11AM. Special request are welcome.
No pets are allowed a $150 cleaning fee if violated.
Events/Parties are not allowed without permission.
No smoking indoors.
Quite hours 10pm-8am
Music must be kept indoors.
Please stay on our property between the fence and white poles.
Kayaks and outdoor games are stored in the garage. Use is at your own risk, please use the life jackets and buddy system.
