At the end of a private tree lined cottage road sits a magnificent Timber frame cottage. Built in 2001-2002 it was patterned after the beautiful structures that typify the grand old cottages of "Millionaire's Row" in Beaumaris Lake Muskoka. The main structure has approximately 7500 sq. feet of living space on 3 levels. There are five bedrooms, five full bathrooms (4 ensuite) and two powder rooms. There are also 4 Muskoka granite fireplaces (2 wood burning and 2 gas) Additionally there is an approximate 2000 square feet of decking on the wrap around covered porch. There are additional decks off the Master bedroom and another bedroom as well as 3 walk out decks on the second level of the boathouse. The boathouse also has approximately 1000 sq. feet of dock for sunbathing and swimming.
The boathouse has 3 slips all with power lifts and door openers. (One slip will be available to accommodate up to a 26 foot boat).
The property itself sits on a point with 710 feet of very private lake front and 2.5 acres, it boasts unparalleled and expansive views of Lake Muskoka to the West, North and East. it's proximity to the "Narrows" means the tour boats "Segwun and 'Wenonah II" are visible (at a comfortable distance) several times a day as they take passengers on sightseeing tours of the Lake Muskoka.
The location affords easy access to world class golf courses "Taboo" (5 minutes) and "Muskoka Bay" (12 minutes), as well as the town of Gravenhurst (5 minutes) and Bracebridge (13 minutes). Other local towns such as Bala, Port Carling, Rosseau, Minett, Port Stanfield, are all accessible by boat or car.
