Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The owners were extremely kind and accommodating, and very knowledgeable about caring for dogs. The room was spacious and the grounds were perfect for someone traveling with a dog. It is right down the road from Yuzawa so you're near all of the most popular ski attractions.

Negative: I don't really have complaints. We were warned there are bears in the area at night but that is just part of traveling in the countryside.

Summary: A great place to stay in Niigata when traveling with a dog.
