Summary: The pictures online looked great, beautiful pool, amenities, swimming area in the lake. The problem was that none of those pictures are an accurate portrayal of what this place looks like. The room was small, grounds were a mess with construction projects clearly being done, and the patios were open to everyone adjacent to you. The pool was in such a dilapidated state, cloudy, couldn’t see the bottom, large beetles everywhere, even the pool chemicals that were being used to apparently render the pool swim worthy were sitting next to the pool, gallons of algaecide and chlorine, just sitting there. The sand volleyball court was nice but the grounds surrounding the court were full of sand spurs, and if the ball went into this area, you had to put you shoes on. The lake swimming area is absolutely completely dangerous and nothing but rocks, not an ideal place to take your kids swimming. Ours slipped and sliced her finger wide open on the rocks trying to enter the water. No signs posted to swim at you own risk or hazard signs of any kind denoting dangerous conditions. Overall, and to the agreement of many of the guests we spoke to, a one and done. This is not a $250/night room or property by any means. Probably a nice stay for people that just want to sit in a room.
