Only 15 minutes from the airport, in the historic center of the city of Cartagena de Indias, San Diego quarter, this newly renovated 134 M² furnished apartment consists of a living room (50m²), an open kitchen facing the living room. There are two separate bathrooms with shower and two double bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has twin beds , using a special mattress, these can beds can become a queen size bed. Both bedrooms have wall to wall closets. The floors, bathrooms and kitchen are marble with lovely woodwork. The living room has a convertible sofa which sleeps two, (it opens and has two single beds). There is a workspace with a printer and plugs for your computer. The living room looks on to a large terrace 36 Sq. meters. Full air conditioning is provided. There is also a parking space in the underground garage.
The apartment is in a small two story building; it also offers recreational and social areas, two rooftop swimming pools, gardens and an area to hold receptions. The property has 24 hour porter service, and surveillance cameras in the corridors.
It should be noted that full names, passport numbers and arrival hour are required one week in advance for the Building Administration.

Summary: We stayed there one week. The apartment is in a convenient location within the Walled City. The living room is spacious and the building personnel is friendly. The apartment is overall comfortable but does need several improvements and upgrades. Here are some of the things we experienced: 1. The unit does not provide amenities such as hand towels, shampoo, body wash. There is hand soap in the bathroom and an extra bottle of hand soap in the shower. I wasn't used to seeing something like this in lieu of proper body wash and shampoo. We had to purchase these items which was a surprise to us. 2. The unit did not provide us with an umbrella until I reached out directly to the owner. The umbrellas arrived the day before we checked out, when the rain had already stopped. This impacted our experience because we could not move around the city comfortably during the rainy days. 3. There's a large outdoor space connected to the unit with a sliding door that does not lock. It needs to be replaced. It scared me a bit to know that someone potentially enter the unit through that door. 4. The refrigerator freezes everything regardless of the setting it's on. The housekeeper shared that it had been having prior issues from the freezer. Honestly, it is rather old (20-30 years old) and needs replacing. 5. The mattress in the main bedroom is very hard. It is not comfortable so do not expect to sleep well. 6. The two single beds in the second bedroom are uncomfortable as well a
