Freda House is a stunning architectural beach house situated in the heart of the coastal township of Inverloch - on the beautiful scenic Bass Coast of Victoria. It's a place to stay and enjoy with family or friends or both! Enjoy the entire expansive home and outdoor fireplace all to yourself. We can accomodate up to a maximum of 12 guests.
Overview
This unique home features a unified design aesthetic, boasting high raked ceilings, oak floors and joinery, earthy Western Australian Limestone walls, reclaimed timber beams and furniture (made from the original beach house that sat on the land), considered interior styling by a local interior designer, lush indoor plants, original artworks by local artists, luxurious linen bedding/towels/toiletries, high-speed internet, 2 x smart TVS, Apple TV, an indoor and outdoor fireplace and inviting homely spaces to experience and enjoy.
Open Plan Living Space
Freda House boasts a huge, light-filled Kitchen, Pantry, Dining and Lounge area. Guests who like to cook, will love the large fully-equipped kitchen and walk-in pantry - stocked with essential staples for guest convenience and enjoyment. The dining area features a long reclaimed timber dining table for meals to be enjoyed together in the warmth of the sun. This leads into a comfortable lounge area with the warmth of a free-standing timber fireplace. Linger here in the cooler months with a glass of wine, or in summer, on the alfresco which also has an open fire. Natural northern light floods the entire rear living space via multiple oversize windows which in turn, look out onto stunning mature gum trees and a rear alfresco area.
The Bedrooms
The Master Bedroom (1 x King Bed)
An expansive room with soaring ceilings, soft billowing sheers, mirrored joinery, Cultiver linen and soft wool carpet. A large adjoining ensuite and walk-in-robe connect. Retreat to this space and enjoy luxury towels on heated rails, Aesop soaps, climbing outdoor vines, dappled light and a freestanding bath to soak in.

All bedrooms are beautifully appointed, featuring local artwork, dreamy sheer drapes, soft wool carpet, ample in-built custom joinery and beds with beautiful Cultiver linen sheets and BAINA towels.
Bedroom 5 (1 x Bunk Bed - Single Size)
This room has been set up as a kids bunk room/hang out space and features a timber ‘Frankie’ bunk from House of Orange, linen bean bags, an assortment of board games, children's books, toys and a Smart TV.
Extra Beds (2 x King Single Ensembles)
Additional bedding can be set up in the room of your choosing if required. Please specify when booking.
Master Ensuite and Shared Bathroom
Both bathrooms feature luxurious Aesop hand and body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
Rear Alfresco and Garden Spaces
Freda House boasts a beautiful undercover alfresco deck area - complete with a towering sandstone fireplace, BBQ, TV and ample outdoor lounge and bench seating. Children can enjoy the outdoor climbing equipment, black board and undulating grassed lawn area. We have recently added access to an undercover games room - complete with a table tennis for guests to enjoy. Rows of Manchurian Pears in the rear garden form a lush backdrop in the warmer months. Mature olives, vines and flowering natives grace the front garden beds. Rinse off under the outdoor shower after a quick dip at the nearby beach which is only a very short walk away!
Laundry
Guests will have access to a full laundry complete with washing machine and dryer. A clothesline is situated outside.

1 x Baby Bjorn Port-a-cot available (please bring your own bedding).
2 x High-Chairs available (please advise if you will be needing for your stay).
