The Space:
Hello,
We are a French/Hawaiian couple who work and live in Paris. Guillaume works in software and I am in wellness. We have carefully decorated and renovated the apartment. We are very social and created the space based on an open floor plan, it is a true cocoon bathed in light. Upon entering you'll see the
- Living room with a glass canopy, dimmable wall sconces and blue tooth speakers on the bookshelf (you may of course read any of the books you might find of interest)
- A fully equipped kitchen (induction stove, oven, built in vent, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine (French press for those who prefer it), standard fridge and freezer, dishwasher, a 2-in-1 washer/dryer machine and wine cooler)
- A dining "nook", the ceiling light is made with hand blown glass and provides a warm dimmable light, there's a socket under the table in case you would like to work at the table.
- To the left you'll see a door which leads to the master bedroom equipped with double bed, a headboard which has secret cabinets with sockets for charging your devices, WC, bathtub and marble sink
- To the right you'll see the guest bedroom with double bed the bathroom adjacent to the guest bedroom with hidden sliding door has a stand in shower.
There's Wifi throughout the entire flat.
The cleaning fee includes clean sheets and towels.
Located in the vibrant 10th arrondissement of Paris, it is on a street that used to be famed for its glass and porcelain artisans. It's very well connected and close to the Chateau d'Eau, Poissonnière, Gard de l'Est and Gare du Nord stations. (Metro lines 4, 7 and many trains such as the Thalys, Eurostar, TGV and regional...)
There are many small shops and great restaurants nearby and if you feel like cooking there three organic food stores just a hop skip and a jump away.

After a day of sightseeing, the calm of the courtyard transforms the apartment into a haven of peace.
Getting Around:
The 10th arrondissement is the best-served district in Paris:
METRO: Strasbourg - Saint-Denis station (4, 8, 9) 300m away.
STATIONS: 7-minute walk from Gare de l'Est; 10-minute walk from Gare du Nord, direct from Montparnasse with line 4.
AIRPORTS: DIRECT link to Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly airports via RER B (Gare de Nord).
VELIB': 3 stations less than 200 meters from the apartment (n°10004, n°10006 or n°10007): the best way to (re-)discover Paris!
PARKING: 107 rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis, a 2-minute walk away.
SIGHTSEEING: the Grands Boulevards (Galeries Lafayette, Printemps), Marais, République, Les Halles, Musée Pompidou, etc. are all within walking distance. Thanks to line 4, you have direct access to all the tourist sites in southern Paris: St Michel, Notre Dame, St Germain, the catacombs...
Other Things to Note:
Both bathrooms have hairdryers, towels, soap and toilet paper. We also provide coffee capsules, laundry detergent, some still water and paper towels as well as kitchen towels.
We ask our guests to respect their neighbours by being attentive to the noise level and to not have parties.
