Views from the Infinity Pool includes the Pacific Ocean, Cano Island, the Three Sisters Islands, Terraba River and the Town of Ojochal in the valley below and breathtaking views of the mountains around you, Wi-Fi, TV's & oversize driveway, 6 cars or more.
Chill out in the Infinity Edge Pool and bedazzled by the waves of the ocean and its spectacular views and magnificent sunsets. Experience the fresh ocean breeze by day and by night, the cool mountain breeze. Awaken to the whistling sounds of birds and howler monkeys. You'll be intrigued by the daily visits from several species of birds. Look out for the occasional animals that may come by to visit.
Mountain Jewel Villa is truly a nature's lover haven and for the adventurous at heart. To have this experience you'll need a 4WD vehicle to travel 8km (20 mins) through the jungle/ mountains on solid unpaved road used daily by the locals and tourist. To some, the drive can sometimes be a challenge and fun experience, whilst taking in its picturesque views driving along rivers, waterfalls, swim holes, passing lodges, restaurants and friendly locals and possibly seeing some wildlife, along the way.

There is Air Conditioning in all 3 bedrooms on the upper level and ceiling fans. The King master bedroom comes with an average sized three-piece bathroom, powered by both Solar and Instant water heating. Large sliding doors overlooking the ocean and pool plus your private walkout to terrace and pool. The Queen bedroom also comes with large windows overlooking the ocean and your private walkout to terrace/pool. There's an average size three-piece bathroom is shared by both the double and queen bedrooms. The Double room boasts a large window overlooking the lush outdoors and mountains. The suite on the lower level boasts extra-large sliding doors with spectacular views of the ocean, comfortable King and twin beds, sofas, fan (no AC), internet and three-piece bathroom across the open hallway from the suite, you'll need to leave the room to get to it. You may reference photo for its layout. Enjoy outside exploring the grounds and feel free to feast any of the delicious topical fruits if in season at the time. Take in the fresh sea & mountain breeze while lounging on the terrace or relaxing in the hammock with a book. Find yourself lazing in the shallow part of the pool's beach entry or sitting on the built-in pool benches. Choose to swim, soak yourself or work your way from the 3ft side of the pool to the 6ft deep end. You can also access the pool and deck from a lower set of stairs off to the side of the house, which are wider and gradual descent to the pool/deck, reference the pictures for a better understanding. Back from the beach! Wash away the sand and dirt using the outdoor shower. Rancho features BBQ, beverage refrigerator, sink, ceiling fans, outdoor sofa and chairs. Have lunch or dine under the stars using any of the two outdoor dining sets with seating for 12 people. Then sit back and enjoy the outdoor fireplace, with plate setting for 4. Be mesmerized by the gorgeous sunsets and have the joy of gazing into the night sky's beautiful sights.
For your convenience. There are pool toys, coolers, beach chairs, board games and playing cards. There are several Costa Rican travel lifestyle magazines at your disposal featuring several tour companies to help you plan your daily activities. If you need assistance with house cleaning or meals it can be arrange with one of our Aides and they'll be happy to accommodate for a fee paid to them in person. Every Saturday or Sunday, early in the morning, Fabian our property and pool Maintenance personal, comes by once a week to perform his regular 4hr Maintenance. Should this not be convenient for you, we can make different arrangements upon your request.
For your convenience there is a countertop full size oven and a five-burner gas range with a non-functional oven.

Summary: We stayed for two weeks in February at this property. The communication with the owner (Juliana) and property caretaker (Anna) was top-rate for the entire stay. It is hard to find photos to do justice to the view. It is simply divine at any time of day. There are birds, birds and more birds of all types. Howling monkeys close by. Pleasant walking along the road that works its way along the high ridges. The house is fully outfitted and has everything a person could need for their stay. Others have mentioned the access road. We were there in the dry season, and the Osa Municipality was working on it. We had no issues with a low-performance rental 4x4. However, I would be trepidatious about staying there during the rainy season. This is primarily due to the road's steepness along the upper section. A high-performance 4x4 with good tires would be very helpful. The area has lovely restaurants (including along the road to the house) If eating out, we did so during daylight hours and, that way, had the pleasure of experiencing the incredible sunset from the pool terrace. My husband and I look forward to returning to the area and will undoubtedly have this fantastic property on our return-to-stay list.
