Now back in use as a main residence, the house, built by the canon Noble Nicolas in 1530 and now the home of the owners, is built with the remains of the feudal town. The House of Noble Nicolas comprises two 16th-century dwellings. Situated on the ramparts in Avallon's very quiet historic quarter, this ancient garden offers panoramic views over the Morvan. The garden and swimming pool are available for use. Numerous restaurants in the immediate vicinity. In particular Les Cordois Autrement, the most famous.
