You will share the space with me, your host. I am close to the Parliament/Westminster, the Big Ben which you can hear from your room, and the South Bank where you can see the London skyline from the London Eye, enjoy restaurants and street food, concerts at the Royal Festival Hall, a cult film at the British Film Institute and the fabulous National Theatre and the Shakespearean The Globe or simply you can just relax by looking at Picasso and more at the Tate Modern. I am very close to Trafalgar Square, the cool Soho and the elegant Covent Garden with its Royal Opera House. I live in zone One and my neighbourhood is called Lambeth Riverside and it is on the River Thames on the South Bank.
The nearest tubes are: Vauxhall (Victoria Line) and Westminster (Circle, District and Jubilee) I anyway suggest you to catch the double deck bus and sit on the top to enjoy the view: busses are very frequent, they have preferential lanes and as I live so central, there is one that takes you to every part of the city you want to go and explore. And when you come back from the busy streets, you will be able to rest in your very quiet room on the first floor of my maisonette facing a garden of 100 roses.
