Some of the best surfing on the coast is at the end of the street and Mermaid Beach is known for its lack of high rises, neighbourhood feel, and eclectic food options and shops. Stay with us and explore all the coast has to offer!

The space
The newly renovated retreat is set up for comfort, convenience and relaxation.
Reverse cycle air conditioning means you will be completely comfortable. Linen sheets and fluffy new towels (with extra towels just in case!) will welcome you when you step out of the walk in shower with its gorgeous terracotta tiling.
The kitchen includes a mini fridge stocked with our favourites, a microwave, a hot plate, kettle, deep sink, ample bench space and of course a Nespresso machine so whether you want to eat in or make yourself meal you have everything you need.
A leather armchair with reading light invites reflection and escapism, but it will be a hard choice between the chair and highly rated brand new mattress.
Linen curtains provide extra darkness for those late sleep ins, and a television with streaming apps means you can unwind with a movie (installed at end of March!).
We have tried to think of everything, including beach towels and a beach bag, a hairdryer and our favourite Rose Essano products, but if there is anything we have not thought of please let us know.
Butcher birds, geckos and a bluetongue call our garden home and we hope our guests feel the serenity as the spectacular coastal sunsets and sunrises unfold above.
Guest access
The retreat is privately located at the back of our block and surrounded by neighbouring palm trees.
Our front gate has a pin code which means you don't need keys when you head to the beach (or anywhere!). When you walk in you will be facing the front of our house and you may run into us coming or going.
Access to the retreat is a short walk through our undercover driveway and through the garden down the side of the house. This area is shared though we are very mindful of your privacy and you won't see us unless we are bringing in the washing.
When you reach the back of the property, pink rocks and sandstone pavers lead you down a path to your secluded entrance to the separate and self-contained retreat. We've placed the door at the back of the retreat so that you can come and go in privacy. Another pathway runs between the main house and the retreat.
Other things to note
Our friendly rescue dog April can be kept out of sight and mind unless you would like to spend time in her adoring company.
On street parking is available and plentiful.
