Summary: This property is attractive and well-maintained with all of the helpful features that made it a great place for my family this past weekend (full kitchen, plenty of supplies on-site, etc). It's close to the airport (15 minutes) and super easy location for transportation anywhere we wanted to go. The only downside was challenging communication with the owner prior to arrival. I needed to make arrangements for my family related to our arrival, and reached out to the property owner 8 times (between phone, email, and text message) - and even requested VRBO reach out twice as well. All of these inquiries went without response until the day of check-in when the information I needed was finally provided, but at that point, we were already in transit to Anchorage and I had already coordinated back-up plans, so it proved relatively unhelpful. Perhaps the questions I was asking for some detailed information seemed small or insignificant, but one of my family members has pretty severe anxiety, so I was trying to pre-empt any potential issues. It was extremely frustrating to be ignored when requesting information I needed to have a smooth experience for my loved ones. Other than the challenges with the pre-arrival communication, the property is terrific and once on-site, the two questions I sent over to the owners were immediately answered, so overall it went smoothly.
