2. THE SPACE
MONTCALVARI is located in front of the sea, in the harbour area of Arenys de Mar, from where you can enjoy the views of the beautiful sunsets behind the boats. The house is next to the beach, 8 minutes walk from Playa del Caballón and Primera Platja and is well connected, 10 minutes walk from the Arenys de Mar train station.
The flat is part of the emblematic hermitage of Montcalvari, which for many years was the last place on land that the fishermen of Arenys de Mar would set foot on before going to sea.
Inside, the house is spacious and completely renovated. It hosts a maximum of 4 people in two rooms: a private double room and a semi-open room.
The private room is a double room with a double sofa bed. It is equipped with a wooden desk with natural light and views to the sea and the little boats in the harbour.
The semi-open room is separated from the dining room by a wooden panel and has a bright exterior window.
The house has a toilet with a shower.
The dining room is spacious, with exterior windows and bright. It has a large sofa and an armchair to share moments of meeting or rest, with a television and side tables. At the back of the room, there is a wooden dining table.
The kitchen is open-plan, modern, and integrated into the dining room. It has high stools for having a coffee and is fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay: coffee machine, washing machine, microwave, oven... and all the basic kitchen utensils.
3. SERVICES AND COMMON AREAS
MONTCALVARI is exclusively for its guests.
ACCESS AND PARKING
The access door from the street is private.
The parking around the house is blue zone (payment ticket required), but there are daily and monthly rates. Near the house, in Riera d'Arenys, there is a private car park which offers cheaper rates.
- Free parking: 8 minutes walk from the house, PARKING DEL PORTINYOL.
- Private car park: Near the house, in the centre of the village, is the PARKING JARDINS DEL XIFRÉ (approx 5,50€/day), indoor parking.
- Blue zone: Around the house is the blue zone of the port (PARKING PORT DE ARENYS). In the Riera de Arenys, there is also a blue zone (payment ticket required). The maximum parking time is two hours at 3,5 €.
If you wish to book a few days at MONTCALVARI, we ask you to please maintain a responsible and rational consumption of our scarce natural resources. The flat has air conditioning, we ask that you do not leave it on constantly, as this will be considered negligent and/or abusive use and may incur a charge.

Please make sure that you will be able to comply with the house rules before making a reservation. It is very important for us to respect the tranquillity of the residential area in which the house is located.

HOUSE RULES
- The house is not rented to people under 25 years old.
- The Tourist Seasonal Rental Contract will be accepted at the time of booking and will be signed before handing over the keys.
- Acceptance of the deposit. This will be made on arrival by pre-authorisation by credit card.
- All persons making the booking must identify themselves by showing an identity document. They will be asked before and during the welcome.
- During their stay, minors must always be supervised by an adult, they are the sole responsibility of their parents/guardians.
- It is also necessary to remove rubbish from the accommodation periodically to avoid odours and dirt.
- We must all respect and preserve the resources we have. Please avoid waste and careless use of resources.
Waste, abusive consumption or negligent use of electricity, water and gas is not included and can be deducted from the deposit.
IT IS NOT ALLOWED
- To accommodate or invite more people than those registered on the booking form.
- To carry out noisy activities (music, loud conversations...) after 21:00 and before 09:00 in the morning. It is very important to respect the rest of our neighbours.
- Organising events, parties, and bachelor parties, as well as any inappropriate behaviour.
- Use bath towels for the beach or swimming pool.
The return in bad condition will incur an additional charge.
- Guests are not allowed to smoke inside the house; if they wish, they may smoke in the outdoor areas of the property. In this case, ashtrays must be used and garden areas, terraces or balconies must be respected.
- Groups of students are not allowed.
- Pets are not allowed.
IN CASE OF NON-COMPLIANCE WITH ANY OF THE RULES, THE HOUSE MUST BE ABANDONED.
We are very strict with the rules because the houses we help to rent are not in tourist areas and we want (need) to preserve the coexistence between visitors and residents.
