Start your day with a cup of coffee overlooking the mountains on the front porch and end it with a dip in the hot tub and dinner and s’mores on the back deck!
This is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath, well-equipped home conveniently located on a quiet street just down the road from the ski lifts/adventure park and close to all the area's activities/sights. Well-behaved (house-trained) dogs are welcome (max. 1) with $65 fee. Max 8 adults at property. Max total number of guests is 10 (8 adults + 2 children).
The house gets a lot of light (morning sun front porch and afternoon sun in the back) - vaulted ceilings in the living room and open floor plan. Room darkening shades in the bedrooms for those who want to sleep in. Beds have have new memory foam mattresses, linens and down alternative duvets with covers. Master bedroom with en suite bathroom on one side, and the other two bedrooms and additional bathroom are on the other side of the house. Basement also has a master bedroom with full bathroom that that adjoins to bedroom and living room. Basement has full kitchenette and lots of games - arcade, darts, shuffleboard, and foosball! And also a 75 inch frame tv for movies and big games with surround sound! Rules: *At least 1 adult over age 25 must be property at all times. The backyard is not fenced. Dogs are not allowed to run at large. They must be leashed at all times when off this property. Dog owners are required to clean up after their dogs. New for 2025: installed electric charger so you can bring and charger your EV!
This home is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA) and is governed by its rules and regulations as well as federal and state laws and local ordinances. There are short-term rentals in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, or owners of second homes enjoying their retreat. Please respect their privacy and property rights, along with those of other guests in our private residential community. Please NO SMOKING/VAPING of any kind on property, including front/back decks, driveway, and inside house, for safety of you and property, and cleanliness for future guests. Violations of this house rule will be reported. * PARKING: All tires must be off the roadway. Do not block fire hydrants. Our private neighborhood roads are "highways" for law enforcement purposes per Rockingham County ordinance. Do not park adjacent to any other homes. Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed. Buses, campers and RVs may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads. Use HOT TUB and FIRE PIT RESPONSIBLY AND AT YOUR OWN RISK (e.g no glass in/near hot tub, close safety clips when not in use, never leave children unattended) and hold owners harmless for any negligence.
*No open fires. Top screen required on fire pit while in use. We are in an area that is at risk for wildfire! NEVER leave any outdoor fire unattended. Please enjoy all of the games and entertainment/tv in the basement but please be respectful and keep them in good shape.
*Noise that is unreasonable in the judgment of MPOA or its designated agent is prohibited at any time. Quiet Hours are between 10 P.M. and 7 A.M.
*Absolutely NO parties or unregistered guests. Open containers of alcohol are prohibited on any road or common area
*Cleaners will remove ONE kitchen trash bag and ONE small trash bag from each bathroom. Tenants must take any excess trash to dumpster area near Massanutten Stonewall Terrace Pool (see owner’s manual). DO NOT place trash anywhere outside the house, including on screened porches. It will attract wildlife that could endanger you and damage the property. Unfortunately there is no recycling service on the mountain at this time.
