Short ride to French Quarter, Superdome for Saints Games, Fairgrounds for JazzFest, City Park for Voodoo Music and Arts Festival and to the Uptown and Esplanade parade routes! Prime location with immediate access to Interstates 10 and 610. Parking onsite in a tranquil neighborhood.
Myrtle St Manor occupies one side of a duplex. It is a gorgeous 3 bedroom apartment, that comfortably sleeps 6. The space features hard wood floors, a comfortable living room area, large LED flat screen televisions, complimentary high speed wireless internet access, Smart TV options, central air/heat and off street parking.
THE LAYOUT
Enter onto a large porch, great for sitting outside and enjoying a beautiful day. Once inside there is a comfortable leather sofa along with an ottoman style table--great for sitting or putting a leg up to relax. The living room is complete with a large LED flat screen television and a Kindle Fire stick. Finally there are board games, a vintage Atari system and playing cards for those days when you may just want to enjoy time at "your vacation home."
Down the hallway and throughout the property there are beautiful displays of New Orleans themed artwork. The pieces mostly by local artists and photographers. highlight many of the popular attractions for which that our magical city is internationally known. Artists like Terrence Osborne, Bruce Bice, Michalopoulos, and Kallè among others adorn the walls with their unique depictions of New Orleans culture, food, and fun.
The first bedroom contains a queen bed that comfortably sleeps 2 and has a Smart TV for catching up on reality shows, movies, or the latest news while lounging.
Next is the large eat in kitchen that is perfect preparing a local feast or warming local delicacies! Fully equipped with a refrigerator (with an ice maker), dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker and pods, stove/oven, pots, dishes, as well as cooking and eating utensils, this kitchen is not only great for food prep but designed like all NOLA kitchens--to be the social center!
Right past the kitchen, is a laundry room with washer and dryer, iron/ironing board and all items necessary for doing laundry--detergent, fabric softener, etc--stocked in the cabinets.
There is second bedroom to the left featuring a full-sized bed that also comfortably sleeps 2. Like the first bedroom, there is also a 32" smart TV.
Just beyond the second bedroom is a full (tub) bath that is stocked with bath shampoo, towels and tissue. This room features the original photography of Maryland photographer Gloria Diallo taken at the Evergreen Plantation in Vacherie, La.
Across the hall on the right is the third bedroom. With a king bed that comfortably sleeps 2, this room has an en suite full (shower) bathroom, a television and amazing windows for great sunlight.
