Summary: Treasure Island has amazing views and snorkelling opportunities. The turtle rehab on the island is also cool. If you’ve come to relax and unplug this is the place. We enjoyed our stay. Being planners, wifi was advertised (I had a bit of work to do) but it was not available. But if you are happy purchasing data then that works just fine. We also came here specifically for the FUN DivING advertised on the website, hotels.com and Instagram, only to be informed there is no longer diving available at the resort. There is no real introduction to the resort and where things are located, but it is small, so easy to figure out. If you are coming for tennis, we never located the rackets and the courts were run down. The rooms are a little dated but honestly all you need, plus they are perfectly located on the beach. The AC in our room was leaking and made sounds that woke us up the first two nights so we decided to sleep without it. Some small repairs would really improve the quality of the room. Final downside were the prices of food. The minimum cost of a dish was $50NZD, but the quality was not consistent and overpriced for what it was. If it was slightly cheaper then this would have been less disappointing.
