Cozy, fully renovated, cottage set back on a quiet street in quaint Delavan only 400 steps from the lake. 1940's original cottage was rebuilt from ground up and a huge great room was added in 2019. This cottage is fully functioning for everyday living and the house is brand new with all new appliances! Sleeps 6 adults comfortably: queen bed, pull-out couch, full-size futon. Located on the calmer west end (less lake traffic) of Delavan Lake, you can walk to the private beach or a 2 minute drive to vintage downtown Delavan. You are located 8 miles from downtown Lake Geneva, 2 miles from Elkhorn and 4 miles from Fontana. Williams Bay and surrounding towns have events, fairs and festivals all year round.
Our cathedral-ceiling great room is surrounded by windows and offers great sunlight during the day or close the blinds for privacy. This house sleeps six with a queen bed, pull-out bed, and full-size futon. The house was completely rehabbed very recently with new AC, plumbing, flooring, paint, kitchen etc. New Washer/dryer in house. Brand new central air and heating. Ceiling fans in most rooms. New windows to easily open during spring and summer. Driveway fits 3 cars max.
Our cozy family vacation getaway in Delavan Wi. is loved by everyone for the quint feel in this clean and open Northwoods inspired house. The quiet neighborhood is perfect for walks, riding bikes, or just hanging in the backyard. There is a privately maintained bird sanctuary right out the kitchen window and deer are also known to show up. Lake Delavan has great fishing in all seasons and is way less busy then other nearby bodies of water. There are so many awesome dining establishments nearby from authentic diners to open-air patio dining on the lakefront.
