New Forest Cottage nestled alongside Limewood, 220sqm over 2 floors. Park Dale is close to the beautiful villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst, Beaulieu & 25 mins from Lymington.
Enjoy direct access to the Forest, the never-ending space, private heated swimming pool, large garden with Childrens entertainment, and our huge wood burner. Couples, Friends, Families, we are ideal for large groups as sleep 12 comfortably.
Ground Floor: large eat-in kitchen / dining area / wood burner / snug TV room with direct access to our fenced garden and fenced 10m outdoor pool. Double Bedroom (wheelchair accessible) with en-suite shower wet room. Utility room with WC.
First Floor: master bedroom with ensuite (bath, shower, WC, sink), 2 double bedrooms, 1 dorm with 4 low single beds, family bathroom (bath, shower over bath, WC, sink), 1 WC & sink,
Land/Garden: gated garden, fenced 10m lightly heated outdoor pool (1.2m deep) with cover. Pool heated in summer season only. Parking for 2/3 cars at the front of the house. Unlimited parking outside the gates on the track.
Services/Amenities: dishwasher, fridge, freezer, induction hob, oven, microwave, juicer, blender, mixer, washing machine, hairdryer, ironing board, iron, satellite TV, wifi, piano, BBQ, DVDs.
NB for Families: 12ft trampoline, sandpit, swing and slide, toys galore, baby cot, travel cot, dorm room has very low beds so perfect for toddlers/young'uns, potty, toddler dining seat, kids cutlery, kids dining sets, kids mini table & chairs, mini blender for weaning - all available.
We do have horses in the private yard located at the end of the garden seperated by a fence and locked gate, who are on site permanently, owned by the lovely Katie who will be your Hostess (on our behalf) please do not enter the yard.
Dogs
Due to family allergies, we do not allow (however much we love them) doggies in the house.
We have tried our very best to re-organise & sort out the house, so please do let us know if something/area needs further attention
We will provide a mini essentials welcome basket (milk, bread, eggs, sausages...). If you would like anything specific, please let us know,
Katie visits her horses daily, and is around throughout your stay to help you if needed
Other things to note.
All gates surrounding the property must be closed to keep out the forest ponies.
We would appreciate your help in keeping wet swimsuits etc off the sofas and if you could encourage your children to not eat on the sofas, that would be great. Use of fireworks is not permitted due to the close proximity of livestock
we do not allow charging of electric vehicles at the property, if you need to charge we can advise of closest charge points.
Our little spot in the forest is wonderful. We're hidden away enough so don't feel overlooked, but have a handful of neighbours across a field or two. Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst, Beaulieu, Lymington are all within very easy reach. Our favourite places to go for a treat are Limewood (pop in anytime for cocktails & nibbles or book for dinner / lunch), The Pig at Brockenhurst, Montagu Arms at Beaulieu and there are some amazing fish restaurants in and around Lymington. For more low key meals out, lunch at The Forage and, my favourite, a take-away from Anissa's Thai Kitchen (great for the health conscious too!) in Lyndhurst
Trains regularly depart from London Waterloo to Brockenhurst or Ashurst. There are a handful of very reliable taxi services too
If you are looking to stick around and enjoy the house and the surrounding area, you can step outside the gate and go for a beautiful walk.
