This school house rocks!!! This purpose built school was remodeled in 2023. It’s now a serene vacation retreat conveniently located just a mile north of the Wrights Brothers Bridge leading to the breathtaking beaches of the world famous Outer Banks! Ideal for families and friends it includes amenities such as laundry, grill, boat or RV parking & wonderful outdoor spaces for eating and relaxing. Over sized bedrooms feature modern styling and luxurious bedding for after sun relaxation.
This house was remodeled in 2023. The style is clean, modern, and bright. There is NO SMOKING, VAPING OR INCENSE allowed inside the house or outside on the property or private road. There are 2 security cameras positioned on the front porch and 2 on the back porch covering the road, driveway & entrance, and back yard.

Summary: Listing didn’t include surveillance cameras posted on property. Communication with host was great until we were told to leave early after one of our party members hit their vape one time in the driveway on the way to their car. No warning or clarification of rules for no vaping on entirety of property (including the road, not even just the building/driveway) and not just within the building. There was no option for just this person to leave or any communication aside from the call from Vrbo staff telling us all to leave the property immediately. We were not given a refund for the unused nights of our trip and weren’t told until four days after the last planned night of our stay that we ourselves would have had to change our visit status to inactive to be eligible for partial refund. Since we got the call to leave at 5pm on the second night of our stay, we understood that this was well past check in time and the host may deny refunding that night’s fees. However we had to pay the entire trip when we only slept there 1 night, and left the afternoon of the second night. Wanted to give host benefit of the doubt but feels like a money grab at this point.
