Positive: We really loved the apartment, facilities were great, there was a microwave, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, oven/hob, pans, cups, glasses, plates, cutlery, utensils etc and washing machine and dryer, even a steamer. Berga is very well situated in spain, ideal for longer trips to Girona, Barcelona and Andorra! About 1-2 hours away each and berga in the centre! Lovely bars and restaurants in the town and big supermarkets. Nice towns nearby with lovely churches/buildings. Also a great hiking trail up to Berga church at the top of the mountain/hill. It took about 1 hour to walk up from the apartment. We happened to arrive at the time of a festival in berga which had lots of fireworks and a huge bonfire in the town square, hundreds of people swarmed the streets to watch and we were amazed by it, really worth visiting the first week of October, weather was still nice and sun shining, 23°c on average which isnt too hot or cold. Extra blankets and towels are provided in the apartment and tv with netflix/prime available which was nice to relax in the evenings. Information given by Sistach was amazing, communication was excellent and they provided more information than they needed to, such as waste schedules and how to split the waste and where to leave it. Keys were easy to find, apartment was very clean and tidy. We would definitely choose this apartment again in the future

Negative: Just little things like laundry detergent wasnt available so we had to buy a bottle which obviously we wouldn't be able to use all of it in a week so we left it behind. No specific parking slot on the street so sometimes having to park quite a while away from the apartment. It just depends if there is a space available on the street to park nearby. Most days we had difficulty finding a space close to the apartment so we would drive around the area for a few minutes until one of the other cars moved. However the area felt safe enough to park anywhere available, we just preferred the car being within view of the front door. Neighbours were sometimes loud, footsteps above and next door (ground floor) dogs barking very late at night and very early in the morning which became irritating. We love dogs and understand they bark, but it was very loud and would last 15 minutes each time which is not normal. This is nothing to do with the apartment though, it cant be helped because its a neighbours dog.

Summary: Excellent stay, lovely town, access to supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
