Positive: Large villa in a gated community. Plenty of room. Good amenities. Chiari responded quickly to any issues we had during our stay 2 minutes walk to a good cafe with nice food and excellent cakes 5 minutes walk to the bus park which serves the beach resort of Mondello(30 minutes away) 5 minutes walk to a Lidl The villa is about 40 minutes walk from most of the sites in the historic centre.
Negative: The pool was closed (it stays closed from mid September until June ) so I would advise checking that before you book if the pool is important to your stay The water supply suddenly stopped. The mains pressure is very low so has to be supplemented by a tank which ran dry. The issue was fixed within an hour of notifying Chiari who arranged a tanker to refill the water tank Taxis are expensive. We used Uber when possible as they were cheaper
