Summary: Finally getting around to writing a review of my stay in Flamingo Beach, Costa Rica... I wanted to stay somewhere very quiet and private, without needing all the trappings of a full service hotel or a fully equipped apartment. Villas Casa Loma offered me the ideal situation: A large bedroom with private bath, a few dishes for snacks, bar fridge plus a small private terrace overlooking the gardens. The large swimming pool was just a few moments away in a garden setting. Exactly what I needed! There is so much to see and do in the area that I was kept very busy during my visit. I am planning to return soon. The beaches are just the start for a wonderful tropical experience. Active individuals will certainly enjoy the many options for activities. Close by is a well equipped gymnasium offering Pilates plus weight training equipment, etc. Walking is a delight there. I found no need for a car, but it would be an asset for couples of families wanting to explore. All in all Villas Casa Loma offered me everything I needed as a single traveller wishing to simply "do my own thing" in some comfort and privacy. Thanks to the pleasant staff of Villas Casa Loma, I found a peaceful retreat. I will not hesitate to point others in your direction.
