Summary: The house is across the street from the ocean with nice views from the main living and dining areas as well as from the 2 main upper bedrooms. 2 smaller bedrooms on the main floor also each have their own bathrooms which was very convenient for our group. The attached but separate rental unit was a surprise to us but we didn’t have any issues with the tenants’ one night stay though we can hear all their phone conversations. The laundry is in a detached garage which is shared with other rental tenants in the cul-de-sac. The neighborhood is quiet and the pebbled beach access is a few blocks in either direction down some stairs. There are tide pools to explore and rocky formations to gaze at. There isn’t much to Crescent City but the nearby redwoods are truly amazing and the main reason for our visit. Don’t miss the scenic Crescent Beach Overlook. Emily our host and caretaker was very nice and we would stay again if in the area.
