The most beautiful property in all of Cardiff! It features over 4,000 Square feet of indoor space, 4 spacious bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a movie room, and multiple living areas.
Treat yourself to one of the most amazing backyards in all of San Diego County with an additional 1,500 square feet of living space featuring an fully equipped outdoor kitchen (BBQ, ice maker, dishwasher, etc.), Moroccan tile pool and stunning 15-person jacuzzi, beer on tap from the kegerator, and a fully furnished cabana including a wood burning fireplace and 75" TV. The home offers seamless indoor/outdoor living with accordion Cantina doors that open from the interior kitchen , with stunning ocean views from both the backyard and inside the house.
The interior is fully remodeled complete with hand-made, artisanal Spanish and Moroccan tile. The master suite features a steam shower and sauna, fireplace, and sweeping ocean views. The three guest suites include a second master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and two queen guest rooms that share a third full bath upstairs. The main level includes two separate living and dining areas, a large private office, laundry room and large chef’s kitchen. Downstairs includes a full screen movie room which can be used as a 5th bedroom, including an attached full bathroom with standup shower. This house is perfect for entertaining and family get-togethers. We are just steps from lovely beaches, including Pipes, Swamis and Cardiff State Beach, shopping malls, restaurants, and the famous Seaside Market.

Cardiff by the Sea, a charming location for everyone, is one of the best surf spots in the area. Whether you enjoy surfing or have never gone, Cardiff beaches are the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. There are a few popular locations in Cardiff, including Swami's and the Cardiff Reef. Similarly, you can take in the downtown area and Famous Cardiff Seaside Market, where you have to try their well-known Cardiff Crack. All these locations are minutes away from your vacation rental!
A 3-car garage and driveway parking are available on the property. Street parking is very simple to come by. The property is close enough to everything whether you walk or drive. Biking is also a wonderful way to move around and take in the stunning surroundings.
There is a daily fee to heat the pool of $200. If guests want to heat for multiple days we can arrange a discounted rate.
We love animals and they are always welcome. Please note we do require a non-refundable pet deposit of $500 for 1st pet and $200 for each additional. We kindly ask that animals are not allowed on any of our furniture.
We have eero boxes throughout the property, offering an advanced WIFI service for our guests to enjoy.
GUESTS ACCEPT THAT THERE IS AN UN-FENCED POOL ON PROPERTY AND OWNER IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY.
Pool heating fee of $250 per day. If guests want to heat for multiple days we can arrange a discounted rate.
Pet fee of $500 for 1st pet, any additional pets are $200 each.
QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 10PM – 9AM EVERY DAY/NIGHT. AFTER 10PM, NOISE NEEDS TO BE UNDER 40 dB, which is library quiet.
You will be fined $1,000 if we receive a citation from our city or if the
cops are called.

Summary: PROS:Unique tile workStunning kitchen that is as well-stocked as any vacation rental I have stayed atLarge home with plenty of space for everyone to find their nooksLovely outdoor BBQ and seatingLovely outdoor pool/ hot tub and showerCONS:Older home with array of maintenance issues which arose during our stayReally really dirty outdoor eating and cooking spaces... I actually threw out my back scrubbing things downWe did not have a functional toilet in main bathroom for 11 of the 14 days of our stay, and had to deal with 3 different plumbing companies, endless delays, etc (just like home!! I guess??) Two of us ended up moving out to a hotel it was so bad (therefore separating our family at the holidays)ANDWe were treated really poorly by the owner, who bullied, blamed (dang, we notified them of the problem as soon as we moved in and stopped using that bathroom), talked over us, and just gaslit us every step of the way... while insisting we deal with more plumbers and refusing to let us just MOVE the whole family or reimburse us for the thousands of dollars of hotel expensesIn the end, the last plumber found a mass of either dental floss or fishing line clogging the line. I assure you, this was not us. But we never got an apology.We paid over 28K for the rental and sunk thousands more in hotel fees. Hospitality is a high bar if you plan to charge this much. This home missed the mark. It's lovely if it works. I wish you luck if you hit an issue.
