Enjoy your next getaway with a visit to our newly remodeled Santa Cruz home. Located on West Cliff Dr with ocean across from the front door, this home has unbeatable views of the Monterey Bay. Sip coffee at sunrise on the large front porch, watching the pelicans soar. You might spot whales or the surfing otters from the living room and kitchen, or while playing a game of bocce on the court in the front yard.
**Note: The City is stabilizing West Cliff Dr, from Jan to July 2025. June update: City is using the beach parking lot across from the home to keep materials. This area is blocked off with fencing and barricades. The construction is happening down the street Mon-Fri 7am - 4pm. Updated pictures are provided **
This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home captures Santa Cruz charm with little details honoring the local culture. This home sleeps up to 10 comfortably. The Master Bedroom has a Queen bed, and an ensuite bathroom. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have Queen beds. The 4th bedroom is a large, open studio space with a bunk bed: 2 twin beds below and an upper Full bed. This studio space has a large, cozy couch and big screen TV, a pinball machine, air hockey and foosball. The studio has a large bathroom, and a kitchenette - a perfect space for movie and game nights! The house also has a pull-out full bed and a pull-out twin bed. All 3 bathrooms have large walk-in showers, and amenities to make your stay comfortable.
The main kitchen is a galley kitchen with a gas stove, dishwasher, double oven, microwave, toaster and coffee machine. The breakfast nook is a cozy space, and the dining room includes a wine fridge to keep those bottles of local California wines chilled for your next meal. The living room hosts large windows for gazing out at the view, and a large TV. The living room sofa slides forward into a queen bed.
Outside the home you'll find more to enjoy. Relax to the sound of the waves with your family on the front yard patios. Use the private outdoor shower to rinse off the sand and salt. In the backyard, unwind with a soak in the hot tub. Walk across the street for a stroll or bike along the scenic West Cliff Drive.
The house is located in a peaceful neighborhood surrounded by full-time residents. We ask that our guests respect the quiet hours (9pm weeknights, 10pm weekends). Parties which cause a disturbance to the neighbors are not permitted. This house is not available for weddings or events. This house has outdoor security cameras that run 24-hrs, including a Nest doorbell.
This home is perfectly set to enjoy the best of Santa Cruz. You are walking/biking distance to: famed Natural Bridges State Beach, the world famous surf break Steamer Lane, and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Visit the migrating monarch butterflies at Lighthouse Field and pick up a breakfast burrito at the Steamer Lane Supply coffee stop. You can take it slow or plan your day with local activities.

Summary: We were 8 family members gathered to celebrate my son’s graduation. This house was so perfect. We could take walks along the ocean front in either direction, soak in the hot tub, sit on the front and people watch, or play games. Something for everyone. The house is very spacious and well equipped. Highly recommend.
