The former fishing village has become a popular holiday and beach resort. Laboe is an old place and was first mentioned 1240th The name Laboe is derived from the Slavic "Lubodne" which means "Schwanenort". And even today, the swan is the heraldic animal Laboe. The long, sandy beach slopes very gently down to the fjord towards, so it is especially recommended for families with young children. Directly on the beach promenade is the adventure.
