Summary: Positive: if I could give a 7 star, I would for the staff. They were just genuinely pleasant and helpful. There's a lift so no need to lug your suitcase. You walk out of the hotel and the tram #1 is right there if you need public transport. We only used it a couple of times though e.g. to get to Dolmabachi Palace as you are only 5-10min walk away from all the major sights. Staff also upgraded us to a better suite free of charge: the living room was on a very lively street but the bedroom was in the back - quiet and peaceful:). I would definitely stay here again. Negative: I screwed up our booking on Expedia and I could not get a refund for the first two nights. I contacted the hotel and they said they could not do anything. The Expedia listing did say non-refundable rooms but I was hoping the hotel would be able to refund at least some of the money.
