Featuring a downstairs primary suite, fully equipped spacious kitchen with plenty of seating, cozy living room with a gas fireplace, 3 additional bedrooms upstairs, a covered front porch, and a private back yard with a firepit! A short drive to town and the beach but also tucked on a quiet road with ample privacy. 8 adults max, with 2-4 additional children under 13!

The Old Port Road Retreat is perfectly designed for families or friend groups looking to share a home but still have space to spread out. One of the unique features of the OPR Retreat is the fully handicapped and wheelchair accessible first floor - complete with a ramp and own private entry into the primary first floor suite with an accessible bathroom/shower - great for multi-generational families! The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you may need and features an island with stools and an additional dining table for 8. While the house is designed to comfortably sleep 8 guests, there are 2 fold down futons with bedding in the upstairs bedrooms so for those traveling with kiddos, the house can sleep an additional 2-4! *Please note the maximum number of adults is 8* The living room has plush sofas and a gas fireplace for those cooler days and nights making it a cozy place to gather. Upstairs features another full bath with 3 bedrooms - 2 queen rooms, and 1 double twin room. The property is wrapped with large arborvitaes for maximum privacy! The covered porch is a wonderful feature of this house - relax in the adirondacks while sipping morning coffee or a sunset cocktail. Another great feature of the outdoor space is the firepit! Plenty of seats for everyone to enjoy the fire and roast s`mores. The back yard is also a great space for kiddos to play. The house even comes with corn hole boards for those summer evenings after the beach. There is a pack n play and children`s games. In the summer, each bedroom is equipped with a window AC unit to help you sleep comfortably. Stocked with beach gear - 2 beach passes to Goochs beach (our most popular beach) chairs, towels, and even a wagon to carry everything. Goochs is just under 2 miles from the house! Butler`s Preserve is a walking path with the entrance just down the street from the home to the right. Butler`s Preserve leads out to Picnic Rock right on the Kennebunk River which is a favorite swimming spot for the local kids!
This house is an excellent option year-round! With our famous Christmas festival, Prelude, the first 2 weeks of December. Families looking for a bigger space to celebrate the holidays. In February, Kennebunkport celebrates the Month of Love with the whole town dressed in red and hearts making it feel very romantic. Take the kids ice skating at the rink in downtown Kennebunk or sledding off Sea Road.

Guests have access to the entire house. The rear shed is locked and off limits.
