VIEWS! VIEWS! VIEWS! Secure and comfortable, my 2 bedroom and 2 bath oceanfront condo in a gated community is located on beautiful Playa Serena Beach, connecting directly to Coronado Beach. While many rentals advertise their "closeness" to the beach; Playa Serena is ON the beach. From a large West facing balcony/patio this 18th floor condo has both spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and stunning mountain views.The area is furnished with a patio table, 4 + chairs, and a gas grill with a 20 gallon tank. There are no 'hidden' costs in the rental amount (not from us anyway).
WHAT TO EXPECT: There's a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator with ice maker, coffee maker, microwave, blender, juicer, and all the glassware, dishes, bowls, pots & pans, silverware and utensils you should need. At the back of the kitchen are a stackable washer/dryer, utility sink, and teak cabinets for storing dishes and food. The 2 bedrooms, are furnished with one king bed and one queen bed. The master bath is en suite and the second bath steps away from the second bedroom. Hi-speed WiFi throughout the condo. A 55 in flat screen smart tv in the living room (Amazon Cube) with aps for many streaming servies, Netflix, etc. In addition there is a sound bar that connects via Bluetooth to your own music source (phone, iPad, etc.). A flat screen TV in the master bedroom also has multiple streaming aps and an Amazon Firestick. The condo has an on-demand water heater. Quality mattresses, linens, and towels. Wall A/C units in all areas. Guests are provided with start up materials: soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. If you have a car, you can park in your own reserved covered parking space. Guest parking also available.
At least 2 weeks before you arrive we will provide you with an information letter that will give you detailed information such as directions from the airport, information about the condo such as WiFi password, safe combination, entry door security code, and contact information for the management company. Panama Sol, our management company, oversees the cleaning service and upkeep of the condo. Inspections are done every time a guest leaves to be sure that the next guest will have a clean and healthy living space. There is a $50 cleaning fee paid to the manager in cash when checking in unless the fee has been collected by VRBO.
Coronado is a 20 minute walk down the beach or a 5 minute drive (a $4 to $5 taxi ride). In addition to taxis there is bus service at a cost of under $1. In Coronado you'll find a walk-in medical center; 4 large 24-hour grocery stores; multiple roadside farm stands selling papaya, pineapple, melons, avocado, and assorted vegetables; pharmacies; churches; banks; and restaurants. At Playa Serena you are a short distance from restaurants in Nueva Gorgona, most are walkable. Three markets are also in walking distance. Panama City, the capital of Panama, is less than 2 hours away, and it is easy to visit if you want to explore The Panama Canal or Albrook Mall, the largest mall in Central America. Among my favorite sites are the Biodiversity Musuem, the Canal museums, and strolling around Casco Viejo (the old town), a good place to buy a Panama hat.
