Summary: The location was great. It is close to the best restaurants in Teresópolis and also the National Park. The house in on a cooler location which helps on hot days. The pool wasn’t as useful in the late afternoon or evening as it gets dark and cool early there. The home needs to be aired out as we found it to be congesting. Opening the windows helps. The older rugs could be a source of the problem but I’m just speculating. The home has many sitting rooms to socialize. I counted 5/6 different areas we could sit to socialize. The kitchen is small in comparison to the rest of the home. The biggest drawbacks to the property were the water heaters for the showers. They don’t produce very much hot water and will flip the breakers after about 5-10 mins of use. Also this property doesn’t have a washing machine which I think it should definitely have at this price point. Overall we had a mixed review and hopefully this is helpful for others.
