Positive: The house was nice and contained the appropriate facilities. Enough bedrooms to house the family. Kitchen and garden area were particularly lovely. The TV system and heating system were good. Bathrooms were nice. The location was great and had a Waitrose directly opposite, only a short walk or car ride into the city centre. A nice place to stay for a big family. Oxford is a lovely city.
Negative: There was a massive ant infestation which we were not made aware of before. There were also woodlice downstairs in the kitchen and downstairs bedroom. Thankfully we did find ant killer in the cupboard which we could use, so this must be a longstanding issue. The stairs were creaky, carpet would be nice to have on the stairs. Maybe a rug in the downstairs bedroom with laminated floors.
Summary: Really nice house for big family in an great location, but ant/lice infestation was a disappointment
