About this space
The property was historically an old milking parlour, hence why it has been given the Welsh name which translates to 'the cowshed'. The property has been lovingly renovated into a spacious one bedroom cottage. Y Beudy is set in the stunning Carmarthenshire country side and sits off the beaten track, only a 10 minute drive from Llandeilo. The property is located in a black sky area, close to mountains and 35 minutes from our nearest beach, there will be plenty to do and see in Carmarthenshire.
The space
Walking straight into the open plan newly fitted kitchen. To your left, you come into the living room, which has a Morso Squirrel log stove. Off the living room, you will find your spacious bath/shower room with a freestanding bath, sink, toilet and enormous shower space. Beyond the living room is your spacious bedroom, with dressing table, European King-sized bed, comfortable armchair and an antique Harrods Wardrobe, all of the furniture is antique and unique. There is a shared garden area with outdoor dining for two, we also have another 3 acres for you to roam around. There is also some space by the front door to enjoy the wonderful sunrises.
Guest access
You have your own parking area in front of the cottage, we are easily reached by car.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them.
Please also note that the property sits in a no Wi-Fi zone but you can access 4G.
To use the wood burner, you will need to bring your own supply of logs, kindling and fire lighters

The nearest super market can be located in nearby Llandeilo. This is a 10 minute drive away. In Llandeilo you will find a Co Operative super market as well as a CK super market. Within the town you will also find independent bakery's, butchers and fruit and veg stores. Carmarthen is a 20 minute drive away, here you will find Tesco and Morrisons.
Local Restaurants
Llandeilo has a vast array of restaurants, these include The Cawdor, The Plough, The Salutation, The Hen Vic and the Torbay Inn. There is also Y Polyn which is a small family-owned restaurant, tucked away in the verdant Towy valley between the county town of Carmarthen and Llandeilo.
Local Attractions
We would recommend visiting Llandeilo where you will be able to visit Dinefwr Castle and Newton house. Llandeilo was recently voted the 'best place to live in Wales' by the Times. We are set close to the Brecon Beacons with plenty of walks there to enjoy. The nearest mountain Llyn-Y-Fan is 25 minutes away. Llansteffan beach and castle is also worth a visit and is only 30 minutes away.
