Summary: Overall, the unit itself is nice. It's cozy with lots of natural light. The path to Blue is right outside the front door, which would be perfect for skiing in/out in winter.However, we had quite a few issues during our stay. When we first stepped through the door, it smelled like cigarettes. It wasn't over powering, but as non smokers, it was a little off putting. When we tried to open windows to air out the unit, we discovered all of the handles were broken, so there was no way to open them. The screen for the sliding glass door was off the track & left leaning on the patio railing. When we put it on, it wouldn't move on the track, so we had to take it off & prop it against the doorway as a make-shift screen. A cold front came in the next day & we discovered that the heating unit didn't work. We followed all of the instructions in the user guide, but it continued to blow cold air, so we had to turn it off. Luckily, the electric fireplace gave off enough heat to warm up the unit, but if you're visiting in the winter this wouldn't be strong enough to keep you warm. We also had issues with the toilet not flushing properly. It got to the point where we scared to even use it. It was nice having a king bed, but it was a bit firmer than we'd like and the pillows were hard & flat (we both woke up with sore necks). The bedding was comfortable & kept us warm even though the room was chilly. The kitchen had everything we needed. The shower was hot with good water pressure.
