This quiet 400-square foot cottage sits by the blue-tiled pool and offers the perfect resting spot after a full day of activities or a sleepy day on the beach. It offers a full bath and kitchenette with full-sized refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven.
Due to local zoning regulations, our minimum rental contract is for 30 DAYS. Longer terms also available.
The studio is detached from the owner-occupied main house and has a private side entrance and dedicated parking space. Come and go as you please. Guests have full use of the pool, pool deck, and private lanai for outdoor dining. Wireless internet and cable TV/BluRay provided.
Less than two minutes walking to the end of the street will bring you to world famous Kailua Beach, which is reached via a private gate. And a few minutes driving brings you to downtown Kailua, where you can enjoy dining, shopping, and the unique feel of one of the last true beach towns.

Summary: We knew it was going to be good from the interactions with Bob and from the pictures on the posting- but none of that actually tells you how quickly we felt welcomed. Sometimes when you meet people, there is an immediate “this is good,I want to spend some time getting to know them” moment. That was true here. Bob and Roni and Gardie are wonderful people, interesting and interested. There are not many times in our lives when we have been able to wear shorts and T-shirt’s and sit looking at the pool while we decide when to walk less than 2 minutes to a gorgeous beach. Heavenly! The cottage was comfortable and within 5 minutes, we felt at home. We ate our meals on the porch, watching the birds and enjoying the sunshine. It was a perfect vacation for us- we spent hours walking and swimming and relaxing. It is a wonderful place with great people - it’s hard to top that! Thank you again for sharing with us!
