Ponderosa Surrounded A-Frame, Private Hiking Trail, Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Sleeps 6! | House in Flagstaff

2 Bedroom House in Kachina Village, Flagstaff
Welcome to Canyon Creek Cabin! This fully updated one-of-a-kind outdoor/wildlife themed A-Frame is nested in the Coconino National Forest and offers guests their own private trailhead! Walking out the back and down the stairs, this trailhead strolls through tall Ponderosa Pines and leads to the scenic 2.7 mile loop Pumphouse Wash Trailhead! When snow is on the ground you will find this cabin to be a convenient drive to Snowbowl for skiing and the other areas of Flagstaff.
When not hiking unwind on the rear deck or in the new hot tub with serene forest views, or lounge in a hammock beneath towering pines. The expansive side yard offers a firepit table, a dining table and a private office spot. Need an outdoor game activity? Cornhole boards are waiting for your crew to play. Inside offers a modern kitchen, cozy beds, and two smart TVs. Perfect for nature lovers, remote workers, or a relaxing getaway!
Paved roads and the flat drive-up front parking assures very easy access with much less stress compared to many other rentals in Kachina Village with very steep driveways that are already hard to drive in the summer and undrivable in the winter.
The inside of this cabin offers an open-floor plan between the kitchen, dining and living area with easy access to cooking and serving your crew at the large table for 6. The gas stove/oven will make it easy while your guests enjoy the comfortable living area with a gas fireplace for colder nights and a mini-split unit heating and cooling unit for the Summer months. Cooling units are also located in the bunk bedroom and the upper loft bedroom. Enjoy the Ponderosa views out the large windows and doors or turn on the nice flatscreen Smart LG TV offering access to a variety of channels with fast and reliable wifi using a cable connection.
The bunkhouse room features 2 unique bunkbeds configured with queen beds on the bottom and twins on top with dimmable reading lights on the bottom beds. The bunkroom is complete with space for clothing & outdoor gear and has an additional dedicated heating & cooling system.
The upstairs loft is the perfect space for a couple, complete with a half bath, storage cupboards and a dedicated heating/cooling system.
The back deck has Adirondack chairs, a Weber grill & overlooks native plant landscaping, with privacy fences & an area for relaxing in the hammock or dining outside amongst the pines in the side yard. Adirondack chairs also flank the large firepit in the sideyard.
The home is regularly treated for spiders and mice because it is surrounded by the national forest.
A note about children
Unfortunately, the cabin is less suitable for young children ( ie. under 7) as the space is not child-proofed (fireplace, steep stairs to loft and open style railings, hot tub and fireplace). However with proper adult supervision can be a great family home.
