Our beautiful 48 acre property is located just minutes from the southern entrance to Fall Creek Falls State Park. Not only the most popular State Park in Tennessee, but Southern Living Magazine listed it as one of the top 10 in the entire Southeast United States. A quiet and private location, we are popular with couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. This cabin also has a relaxing Hot Tub!
The Hemlock is a true log cabin, with lots of personality. A wide Screened front porch that overlooks our beautiful Piney Pond, and bird feeding station. Out back, you will find another deck with room for coffee at dawn, and a wonderful 5 person hot tub - perfectly private. Just steps away, is your fire pit, charcoal grill, and picnic area.
This cabin boasts two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a full bed; additionally, there is a twin sized day bed on the landing to the second bedroom, and a full sized sleeper sofa in the living room.
The kitchen has everything you need for wonderful family meals. Full sized stove, oven and refrigerator. We have also made available a coffee maker, toaster, hot air popper, microwave, and crock pot slow cooker. The Hemlock also has a washer and dryer for your convenience, and a full and a half bath. No reason to rough it here - it has central air and heat in combination with a propane fireplace (Nov 1-April 15) for ambiance - when it may be chilly.
For entertainment, this cabin is equipped with a Roku device, as well as a fire stick; so, you will have access to many channels, as well as, the ability to log into any streaming services with which you have accounts - i.e. Netflix, Amazon, HULU, VUDU, etc. Be sure to bring your log on information with you, so that you may access these accounts. Additionally, we have provided a DVD player if you choose to bring your favorite flicks. We also offer very reliable, fiber optic internet/WiFi FREE.
You will have access to the entire cabin as well as the private fire ring, charcoal grill and picnic table. In addition to your cabin area, the property encompasses 48 acres. We have a .75mile "out and back" trail, as well as a wonderful pond for quiet contemplation.
Other things to note:
In order to use the hot tub, we do require a signed liability release prior to check in. Cellular service can be spotty with some providers; but, by using WiFi calling you should have no problem making or receiving phone calls.
Any stay of any undisclosed animal, or humans in excess of the contract, will result in loss of your Security Deposit, or expulsion from the property without any refund.
We LOVE to be able to use this cabin ourselves, we hope that you enjoy it as much as we do. Though we are not always on the property we are easy to reach via text or phone.
