"Aldermere" derives from the shore stand of Alder trees and the french word for sea - "la mer”. Carefully renovated in 2008 to a high standard, maintaining the antique look and feel, with 5 bedrooms and modern systems. The elevator between 1st & 2nd floors is very useful for luggage and seniors. A 20' breezeway connects to garage with full apartment over. Climate by geo-exchange - six 400' wells under the back lawn - with wind turbine. 3 acres of lawn give tremendous sense of space and privacy, and views over the bay are grand. Substantial library.
