I rent a quiet and very bright room in my home.
A comfortable, beautiful and very bright apartment all day, with a relaxed, cheerful and very welcoming atmosphere.
The room is bright and facing the sunrise, with a comfortable 105cm bed, a large wardrobe, mirror, bedding, blankets and towels...
We will share:
A spacious and pleasant dining room without TV with a terrace to enjoy the sunsets on an immense horizon without nearby buildings;
A nice windowed bathroom with bathtub, hair dryer and space for your things.
And a comfortable and inspiring kitchen for lovers of good food (with oven, microwave, juicer...)
At home we like good music and we have Wi-Fi; heating throughout the house.
You don't smoke, but you can do it on the terrace if it's punctual!
TRANSPORT:
Metro line 6 (grey in color and also called circular) has a very good connection to the airport and the main train and bus stations in the capital;
and line 5 (green) crosses a large part of the city center from south to north, passing through several of its emblematic places in terms of commerce, leisure and culture, and gastronomic and night-time tourism.
So in 10/15m by direct metro you can have beers, tapas and drinks in "El Rastro" or "Plaza Mayor" (Latina), stroll through "Madrid de los Austrias", "Palacio Real" or "Puerta del Sol" (Opera), drop by in the commercial center or go out in the neighborhoods of "Lavapiés", "Malasaña" or "Chueca" (Callao, Granvía, Chueca).
There are also several buses to Plz. Mayor or the areas of Lavapiés, Atocha, Pº del Prado.. In this case, enter the most cosmopolitan nucleus full of life in the case of Lavapiés or the museum axis and the most wooded area of the city in the case of Atocha, Prado...
And there is a bicycle available for you for €5/day, upon payment of a deposit.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
The house is located in the Oporto metro, in Carabanchel, a working-class neighborhood with its own history and personality, a lot of life in its streets and squares during the day as well as pleasant wooded areas and more tranquility at night.
It houses bars, cafeterias, mythical concert and theater halls, a library, a summer and winter swimming pool as well as a multitude of food stores and supermarkets (Mercadona, Hipercor, Lidl, Día...).
If you have a car you can park in the area without having to pay for it.
Although the city is hardly prepared for cycling, next to the house we have a bike lane that connects directly with the green ring and with a jump you fall into "Madrid Río" which is an immense park on the banks of the Manzanares river, ideal for taking a few walks foot or by bike and/or practice sports.
