Summary: It was the run of the mill QI. It was obvious that Michigan has legalized recreational cannabis because the hallway smelled skunky. Our room was ok, however the bathroom smelled like someone had vomited Cheetos. The staff came right up and sprayed deodorizer. It really helped, but we went to the store and grabbed some Febreze just in case the smell came back. It didn’t, but I think I caught a whiff of it in the stair well. The shower rod was stripped out of the wall and hanging at a weird angle so the curtain kept sliding to the center. That made for a fun shower experience. The breakfast was standard. No microwave scrambled eggs though, which I can deal with. Only one waffle iron, so there were some lines, but all the guests were kind and considerate. It seemed like the person working the front desk also ran the breakfast. I felt bad for her checking out guests while taking care of other’s breakfast needs. It was a lot. I’d probably stay there again, it’s a fair stay for the price.
