Cozy 2-3 bedroom cottage with growing velvet painting collection. Walk to Nevada City's main drag. 20 min drive to the Yuba River or 15 min to Scott Flat Lake!
There are two furnished private bedrooms. There is a spare room with its own entrance if you would like to expand to three room with an inflatable deluxe queen air bed (provided).
Or use the spare room to store your bikes and flotation devices when you explore the area. Nevada City has many natural attractions! I have left river supplies for guests to use, along with local recommendations.
The backyard is large and fenced but wild with big trees that drop debris and pollen. With 100 degree days, you probably won't hang out in back but fine for letting your dog do his business. You should check your dog for foxtails as I'm still restoring the previous owner's neglected field. I'm also in the process of building a back deck. The front porch is more pleasant and has misters for when it's hot.
Nevada City has a church closeby which plays songs on bells fairly early in the morning. You may either quaint or it'll wake you up. I have left a container of ear plugs for the sensitive sleepers. It is not continuous; I believe the first ring is 7:30 am then silent for an hour.
