Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: interesting french chateau influenced style so totally unique.set in nature reserve and keen to fit in as much as possible the final few hundred metres access to the property is unpaved and potholed. Having recently rained it provided an entertaining ride on two heavily laden 1250cc motorbikes. But his in no way distract =ed from the x=experience. The lady running the property wa charming, interesting and spoke perfect english, due th time spent studying in London. She made some excellent recommendations for local beers, wines and cuisine which we thoroughly enjoyed. Great place. We could only spend one evening there but would have welcomed a stay of several days!

Negative: Not much at all. The access road wasn't paved but this was in line with the nature reserve ethos of the location
