3 Bedroom House in Waveland

Our home sits on a large lot located in a quiet neighborhood in Waveland, MS. The home is just a short walk or drive to the white sandy beaches of Waveland. After a day at the beach, cool off in our saltwater swimming pool.
Our split level two story home includes 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, full kitchen with dining area and den. The house features hardwood flooring throughout the entire home. The first floor Master Bedroom has a Queen Bed, cable TV and private master bath with Jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom has two full beds and access to the 1/2 bath. Our third bedroom is located on the second floor and has three single beds, full bath and Cable TV. Great space for the kids. The home has several step up and downs on the first floor. If you or anyone in your party has limited mobility, please keep this in mind.
The Kitchen is fully stocked and equipped with all appliances including microwave oven, dishwasher and disposal. The house has a washer, dryer and iron.
The den is equipped with HD cable, Flat Screen TV and WiFi Internet.
Waveland is a quite beach community located on the beautiful gulf coast. Our home is located just minutes away from the white sandy beaches. Just a short drive down South Beach Road and you will find Old Town Bay St Louis or continue across the Bay Bridge to historic Pass Christian. Two major casinos are located 10 minutes from our home. New Orleans historic French Quarter is just an hour drive to the west.
Whether you want to relax on the secluded beaches, swim in the pool, golf, fish or gamble this area has something to offer.

Summary: My family of 5 stayed at this property as a last family trip before school starts back. We were so pleasantly surprised by the laid back town and close proximity to anything we could need. The lack of crowds and traffic made the stay so enjoyable and low stress. Our kids loved the backyard pool and splash pad/park down the street. The house was plenty of space for the 5 of us. We could have easily had 2-3 more people and would have still enjoyed the spacious accommodations. The kitchen was one of the best equipped I have seen in a rental home. The grill out back was perfect for our evening meals. The nearby Waveland Ground Zero Museum was a moving exhibit. Be sure to get something from the onsite Sugar Pop bakery, too. Bay St Louis was a great spot to eat by the Gulf. Gulfport is only 30 minutes away, and New Orleans only an hour. Again, no traffic! We enjoyed the week so much and hope to come back soon.
