River Rapids Guest home is located on a rural 16 acre lot about 5 acres from our home. Iron Creek runs into the Applegate River creating a pristine natural setting. We enjoy travel thus want to create a great travel experience for our guests.
We are happy to assist you in your efforts to explore the property with the use of our kayaks, and ziplines across the river(both directions). We are neighbors to the Applegate golf course and only 10 minutes from downtown Grants Pass this provide a key access point to the Applegate Valley (wineries, hiking trails, Hellgate Jet boat excursions etc.). Located 40 minutes from Jacksonville, 1 hour from Ashland, 2 hours from Brookings, OR (coast access), 1.25 hours to the OR Caves, 1.75 hours to Crater Lake National Park we are in a strategic yet quiet location for exploring Southern Oregon. This one bedroom home has its own entrance/driveway and designated parking. Uniquely situated minutes from town yet in a quiet private setting one experiences nature at its finest with a private outdoor shower. A tiny house feel with all the amenities of home will leave you well rested in our quiet location. The home is a 5-7 minute walk downhill, including stairs, to our own secluded private beach oasis. There are no neighbors in the area or on the river in this section. Our private beach is equipped with a deck, gazebo, patio tables/chairs, propane heaters, fire pit, BBQ. Prior arrangements with owner must be made for use of zipline (Ziplines have max weight capacity of 200lbs/ rider). Zipline across the river both directions professionally installed. Fly fishing only, we do not allow spinning rods, lures, or bait on our property.
