Traveling to the Aspen Valley for a vacation and/or looking for your FOREVER home in the mountains? Then we have you covered! Enjoy our beautiful vacation rental in River Valley Ranch Carbondale which is an absolutely CHARMING home with sounds of the Crystal River in the background and with dramatic views of Mt. Sopris!! Located on the 10th tee box at River Valley Ranch Golf Club out your backdoor! Any season works great with this home, offering different outdoor activities throughout spring, summer, fall, and winter. My husband Adam Desmond is a Broker Associate at Sotheby's International Real Estate and can show you property while you are here too!
With new Pottery Barn furnishings, this house offers a modern farmhouse tranquility and a zen-like feel of well being, while being "right in the action" at the same time. 4 distinct verandas outside offer incredible views of Mt Sopris during any season of the year. This includes two covered decks/patios, a new flagstone patio with real wood burning chiminea, and a gas fire pit area too. A short 5 minute walk takes you to the famous Homestead Restaurant, bar, and grill which undoubtedly has the best patio with Mt Sopris views in the Valley! Attached to Homestead Restaurant is the RVR Golf Shop and Golf Simulator, where you check-in to play golf and pick up your golf cart. Old Town Carbondale with numerous restaurants, bars, coffee shops, yoga studios, and First Fridays Celebrations is also walkable (about 20 more minutes from Homestead Restaurant) or a short 5 minute drive, or bike ride away.
We love dogs, so two well-behaved doggies are welcome to join you, any size. With miles of walking paths and ponds/parks inside the RVR neighborhood, you and your doggies can explore right outside the front door, and can even hike on the golf course during the winter months (end of Nov to end of March). The backyard fence is brand new, and completely secure to keep your little ones or doggies safely in. Plus there are plenty of dog parks in the Valley (just ask me where!).
In the Summer and fall, we have a wonderful Herb Garden and flower garden that you have full access to use! No need to buy expensive herbs at the grocery store! Includes: Basil, Thai Basil, Sage, Oregano, Thyme, Chives, Green Onions, Mint, Lavender, and some Tomatoes in the fall ~

This rental is ideal for 6 adults max. Two young children could also be included in the bonus room. We have lovely neighbors on both sides of our house, so quiet time at house (indoors and outdoors) starts at 9:00pm.
